Zion Glamping Adventures offers many other opportunity for your vacation to include guided adventures through the surrounding landscapes. All our adventures are family friendly and can be added to any stay at our resort.

Cattle Drive

Treat yourself to a memorable Western Cowboy/Cowgirl experience! Our Cattle Drive takes place on a beautiful open range in Southern Utah where cowboys have been herding cattle for centuries. On our open range Cattle Drive we gather the cattle and move them to a corral right in the heart of Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon and Lake Powell. We will then give you instruction on the art of sorting cattle from horseback. This adventure will be an experience of a lifetime that you will enjoy telling your children and grandchildren about for many years.

Horse Trail Rides

$95 per person/per hour

Our trail rides begin and end at the hitching post/trailhead for the Amphitheater and Squirrel Canyon trails in the Southern region of Zion National Park. Your guide will lead you at a brisk walking pace along the trails where you will cross the Squirrel Creek, meander among Cottonwood trees and willows and traverse the varying terrain that make up this beautiful area. Spectacular views of Zion National Park’s towering red rock canyon walls greet you regularly during this breathtaking ride.

Most of the ride is on horseback, then you will hike a short distance to a naturally formed amphitheater (also named The Amphitheater by locals) with a refreshing pool at the head of the canyon. There are freshwater springs here where you can refill your canteen with cool, pure mountain spring water, purified by Mother Nature herself, before you head back down the trail. This 4 hour roundtrip trail ride and hike provides an opportunity to connect with nature and will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

We have horses for all types of riders from novice to seasoned horsemen and we accommodate ages 8 to 100 (younger ages can be accommodated on our shorter trail rides). Come enjoy this true “Western” adventure with us.
